On Friday 2nd December 2016, GRASSROOTS trustee Sheila Marsden, and coordinator David Jonathan, went along to the glittering Luton Best Awards which was held at the Luton Hoo Hotel. This annual event honours the outstanding achievements of many of Luton's individuals, groups and organisations. GRASSROOTS was very proud to receive the Luton In Harmony award presented by Pastor Lloyd Denny, Chair of Luton In Harmony, and Andrew Castle, television and radio presenter.
Coordinator David Jonathan reflected "It gives us great pleasure to win the Luton In Harmony award. This is particularly significant as we have now entered our Silver Jubilee year, and after 25 years of activity in Luton, it is greatly encouraging to see our work continuing to be valued in this way".
